Course Syllabus

Welcome to the My Side of the Mountain Book Club. 

My Side of the Mountain was written and illustrated by Jean Craighead George in 1959 and published by E. P. Dutton. Sam Gribley, a teenage boy decides to run away from his home in New York City and live on his family's farm in the Catskill Mountains. Sam's survival skills and knowledge of nature grows as he learns to live off the land.

In this unit of study we will be reading the book My Side of the Mountain and completing some fun activities and assessments to go along with the book.  Links below lead to all of the activities and assignments for this 4 week unit.
